Meet the Founder

Coach Rod McKee is a man of God, father, educator, mentor, coach, program builder, and leader whose life and leadership are rooted in faith, family, service, and developing the next generation.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Coach McKee has dedicated his career to impacting young people through education and athletics. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles including Head Track & Field Coach, Offensive Coordinator, position coach, educator, and program developer.

His philosophy extends beyond developing better athletes. Coach McKee believes coaches have a responsibility to help develop better people, stronger leaders, committed students, future fathers and husbands, and individuals prepared to make an impact in their communities.

Throughout his coaching journey, he has helped build programs, develop student-athletes, and contribute to championship-level success. Yet he believes the greatest victories aren't measured solely by trophies, records, wins, or statistics. They are measured by the lives impacted long after an athlete leaves the field.

As a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Coach McKee carries the fraternity's cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift into his commitment to leadership, mentorship, and service.

Above every professional title, fatherhood remains one of his greatest responsibilities and blessings. Being a father has deepened his understanding of what it means to lead, protect, teach, sacrifice, and build something meaningful for the next generation.

That purpose became part of the foundation of Coach By Faith™ and The House of CBF™.

Coach McKee believes coaching is more than a profession it is a calling and a ministry. Coach By Faith™ grew from his belief that coaches have an opportunity to influence lives far beyond the scoreboard.

Through Coach By Faith™, Play By Faith™, and Teach By Faith™, his vision is to build a movement that equips and inspires coaches, athletes, educators, families, and communities to live boldly in their faith, lead with purpose, serve others, and build champions for life.
